Keith is a "Hit" with Judith!

In June 2003 the branch were lucky enough to be able to hold a collection after singer Judith Durham's concert at the Philharmonic Hall. Judith, who is patron of the association in her native Australia, spoke to members of the branch after the concert.

The collection raised an amazing £700 and the branch thanked the generous concert goers via a letter to the Liverpool Echo. Judith is pictured with branch member Keith Ten-Pow, following a discussion about the on going fight against Motor Neurone Disease.

Champions at Ursuline Primary School!

The pupils of Ursuline Primary School, led by Beth MacCarfrae, raised £550 for the Branch. With the support of both Liverpool and Everton football clubs, who donated footballs, the amazing sum was raised through raffles, with other prizes being donated by businesses in the Crosby area. Jamie Carragher did the draw for the raffle, and returned for the cheque presentation.

Beth is pictured right with fellow pupils who constantly support the branch, James and Jessica Taylor, and teacher Chris Watts. They are presenting the cheque to Committee members Stella Edwards and Carol McGowan.
